This mug is a seconds as there are 2 slight faults. The bird motif inside and part of the branch design near the bottom are slightly faulty. Please see second and third photos. Hardly noticeable faults - grab a bargain!
The delicate intricacies of bare winter tree branches and the patterns they create inspired this unique blue and white large fine bone china mug. Two blue birds are depicted in mid flight on the inside of the mug.
 
The original designs for these fine bone china mugs were created using the old photographic process of Cyanotype in which the solution used reacts with sunlight to produces distinctive blue tones.
Taking inspiration from the strong British tradition of blue & white ceramics, Sarah realised her delicate blue & white cyanotype designs naturally lent themselves to being applied to pottery. Sarah is now delighted to bring you her unique collection of fine bone china that hopes to bring a little of our wonder in the intricacies of nature into our homes.
