The delicate silhouette of a Cow Parsley seed head is depicted on this pretty blue and white Welsh birthday card. The design originates from my original Cyanotype creations inspired by the lovely delicate seed heads in the British hedgerows.
 
To create the original I used the old photographic process of cyanotype - a light sensitive solution is applied to watercolour paper, a large format negative placed on with actual Vetch, Cow Parsley and Ferns then exposed to sunlight, the solution is then rinsed off and the paper dried, fixing the image.
 
Nature is at the heart of my work. The 300gsm card is FSC accredited, supplied with a ribbed brown 100% recycled envelope in an eco-friendly clear wrap (made from corn starch these are fully biodegradable and compostable). Card measures 10.5 x 15cm.
